The Ross IT department of the Ross School of Business provides the community with a comprehensive suite of technologies, web-based solutions, and support to help our shared instructional, research, administrative and service missions.
To help carry out that mission, our department is organized into the following departmental units:
This team is responsible for planning and designing all AV installations and upgrades in the Ross Community. This team takes the lead on coordinating complex events as well as training Ross constituents on the use of technology. This team works closely with RLDI as well as Faculty directly.
This team consists of:
The frontline support of the Ross IT department. Bringing together the experience and talent regarding, equipment, software, computers and troubleshooting issues.
Responsible for building, configuring and maintaining the infrastructure of servers, storage support and application integration.
Education & Training
Responsible for creating training materials, as well as departmental communications concerning the various technologies and how best to use them in your teaching, research and work. This team can assist you with getting the most from the technology and software that is used daily.
This team brings experience and talent creating and customizing web applications. From web-based application design and support, to web sites that are used for market/communicate the needs of the school, this team is able to work with you concerning these requests.
While each team brings with it their own unique skill set and knowledge, working as one team we are able to offer more coordination concerning solutions, priorities, escalations, resolutions and outcomes concerning our IT services. When receiving support from one of our teams, we will be working together as one to deliver quick, timely and effective results using innovation and the talents of each individual team member to provide the right solution at the right time.
