Transition Your Board (Internally)

  • Share information from Transition Workshop or transition meetings with board members
  • Transfer Google Drive access & other documentation
  • Hold individual transition meetings for each position
  • Review financials & account access
    • SOAS [on-campus] bank account
    • Paypal [collecting membership dues via CampusGroups]
    • Off-site bank account [if applicable]
    • Corporate sponsorship [if applicable]
    • Discuss financial transparency
  • Set goals and expectations for the club and it’s leadership
  • Create a draft event calendar & project plan → check the Ross Major Events calendar
  • Explore the iMpact Student Life page

MBA Club Checklist

Other Opportunities & Deadlines:

  • Professional, affinity, and social clubs are required to attend a transition workshop hosted by the MBA Program Team in the spring to facilitate the club transition.
  • Clubs who solicit corporate sponsorship funds for conferences or other flagship events must meet with the MBA Program Team in the spring to facilitate the conference transition.
  • Officers must send an updated list of selected MBA1 directors on their board to MBAProgramOffice@umich.edu by October 15. This is a requirement in order to be a recognized club.
