The IT department of the Ross School of Business provides technology and support services that enable and advance the Ross mission. This is done by providing the community with a comprehensive suite of technologies, web-based solutions, and support which enable our shared instructional, research, administrative, and service missions.
To assist in the execution of our mission, the department is organized into the following departmental units:
AV Infrastructure Services
The AV Infrastructure Services team is responsible for planning and designing all AV installations and upgrades in the Ross Community. The team takes the lead in coordinating complex events, and training Ross constituents on the use of AV technology. The team partners with faculty and staff regarding their AV needs and technology used during events.
The Support Services team consists of:
The frontline support of the Ross IT department, which brings together the experience and talent regarding equipment, software, computers and troubleshooting issues. They seek to partner with you to remedy your IT requests and issues.
Responsible for building, configuring, and maintaining the infrastructure elements involving servers, storage support, network support, and application integration.
Training & Communication
Responsible for training materials and delivering training that involves the technology, systems, and software utilized by the Ross Community. Additionally focusing on Ross Community communications concerning the various technologies, systems and software, along with how best to use them in your teaching, research, and work.
The Application Services team brings experience and talent in creating and customizing web applications. From web-based application design and support, to web sites that are used for market/communicate the needs of the school, this team is able partner with you concerning your application needs & requests.
The team brings with it their own unique skill set and knowledge, and through partnering with you they are able to achieve coordinated, timely and effective resolutions and outcomes concerning our IT services.
