Description of Classes

 

Boot Camp

Boot camp is a perfect fitness solution for busy lifestyle.  It is a 50 minute high intensity workout incorporating strength, endurance, and cardiovascular fitness. All fitness levels are welcome it’s great for beginners to advanced levels. It is a circuit type system that allows you to work with a partner or alone. This is a total body workout that changes every class so you do not get bored of the same routine.  The class consists of various stations alternating between different exercises at the right intensity with short breaks before moving on to the next station. The instructor is with you 100% of the way aiding in any questions or assisting with proper form and posture.  The number one goal in this class is to keep moving in order to burn the maximum amount of calories.

 

Pilates

This class is based on the method of Classical Pilates conditioning. It focuses on the awareness and engagement the abdominal, gluteal, and postural muscles of the body. Participants will be instructed with an emphasis on both form and technique. Beginners are welcome and extremely fit individuals WILL be challenged. Come join the fun...no equipment required.

Body Sculpt

Need that extra push to get slim? Try our Body Sculpt class! Body Sculpt is a balanced mix of heart pumping cardio aerobic exercise combined with light resistance training. This programs’ design is aimed to increase your metabolic rate and to improve your cardiovascular fitness...all while strengthening/toning. Intended for all levels and goals of fitness, get your full body workout done in just an hour! 

 

Yoga

Taught in a vinyasa style, each posture in this practice is sequenced to flow together. There is always a focus on breath, whether it be moving with each breath or breathing through a posture. The goal is to maintain a steady and calm breath throughout the practice. Emphasis on certain areas of the body or working toward a peak pose will change from week to week. Variations or alternatives will always be offered for beginners or more advanced practitioners.

 

Circuit Training

Circuit training provides a great time efficient workout as you move through a series of stations designed to elevate your heart rate and challenge your muscles. Participants can expect to work upper body, lower body, and core muscles through a circuit of exercises timed in specific intervals. Circuit training maximizes caloric burn and works the cardiovascular system by keeping you moving. The class is high intensity in nature but exercises can be modified for all levels of fitness. Whether you are trying to lose weight, build muscle or just get in shape, circuit training can help you reach your fitness goals!
